STRUXURE™ Walers

Struxure reinforced structural high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic lumber Walers are used extensively on DOT bridge fender systems and US Navy/Ports quay wall fender systems.

The vessels can rub against the plastic lumber walers without endangering the vessel hulls due to the low coefficient of friction.

Struxure has excellent physical properties, load bearing & impact properties, and long term performance & aging properties. Unlike wood timbers, Struxure will not rot or decay. Typical sizes vary from 10×10, 10×12, 12×12.

STRUXURE™ Chocks / Blocks

Struxure reinforced structural high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic lumber Chocks & Blocks are used extensively by the US Navy & Ports on the side of the quay wall.

Struxure has excellent physical properties, load bearing & impact properties, and long term performance & aging properties.

Unlike wood timbers, Struxure will not rot or decay. Typical sizes vary from 3×10 thru 12×12.

STRUXURE™ Rub Rails

Struxure reinforced structural high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic lumber Rub Rails are used extensively by the Ports on the side of quay walls. The vessels can rub against the plastic lumber rub rails without endangering the vessel hulls due to the low coefficient of friction.

Struxure has excellent physical properties, load bearing & impact properties, and long term performance & aging properties.

Unlike wood timbers, Struxure will not rot or decay. Typical sizes vary from 10×10, 10×12, 12×12.

STRUXURE™ Bull Rails

Struxure reinforced structural high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic lumber Bull Rails are used extensively by the Ports on the top edge of quay walls. The bull rail acts as a barrier from vehicles & objects getting too close to the edge of the quay wall.

Struxure has excellent physical properties, load bearing & impact properties, and long term performance & aging properties.

Unlike wood timbers, Struxure will not rot or decay. Typical sizes vary from 8×8, 10×10, 6×12.

STRUXURE™ Hand Rails

Struxure reinforced structural high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic lumber Railings, Flooring, and Walkways are used extensively by the DOT on bridge fender systems along with US Parks Service boardwalks & bridges, Zoos, and many other applications.

The DOT maintenance personnel use the walkways to inspect and repair bridge systems. In protecting the trees and forest, the Parks Service, Zoos, and many other markets use recycled materials versus wood.
